Services | Clothes Cave
The
people of Saskatoon and area bring down to the Centre hundreds
of bags of clothing each month and we put it to good use.
Clothes
are brought down to our basement (hence the name The Clothes
Cave) where they are sorted and put out on racks by a team of
dedicated volunteers. Then every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
from 1:00 - 3:30 p.m., people who need clothes can go down and
get what they need free of charge.
In
addition to our regular Clothes Cave hours, it is used by
other staff in the Centre to provide clothes for clients in
need and in emergency situations. Over the winter staff at
both of our desks gave out hundreds of pairs of socks, toques,
and gloves/mittens to people suffering in the cold.
If
you have clothes to donate, we accept them at either one of
our entrances. After 4:30 p.m. we accept them our the Men's
Residential Entrance (the one closer to 19th Street).
