Residential Services | Al's Place

Al's Place is the lounge for residents staying at the Centre. In it you will find three computers, a television, comfortable chairs, a sofa, microwave, and a refridgerator. If you are around during the evening there is a good chance you will find a game of chess, checkers, or cribbage being played there as well.

It is open to long term residents from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at night during the week and from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on the weekends.

With the Centre being busier because of Saskatoon's housing boom, Al's Place has been busier as well. Once the dining hall is cleaned up after supper, it is opened as an overflow area to give guys some more space to relax in.

In emergency or overflow situations, Al's Place is used to house up to five men on cots or it may be used to house teen males when our youth room is full.
