Residential
Services | Mental Health Room
The Salvation
Army Community Centre keeps one of our private rooms for those
in our community who are struggling with homelessness and mental
health issues. This room is used on an emergency basis to make
sure some of our most vulnerable citizens don't end up on the
street.
Our
staff help ensure medications are being taken, appointments
are being kept, basic needs are being met, and they are safe.
Security staff also take extra care to ensure the resident's
needs are being taken care of.
Residents
of our mental health room are referred by the Saskatoon
Health Region or Mobile Crisis. When that room isn't be
used, it may also used for emergency overflow on a night by
night basis for at risk youth.
