The Salvation
Army Community Centre's Volunteer program is a vital part of
our service delivery system. Many individuals, church groups,
employee groups and others come down to the Centre to serve
our clients and guests. This life-changing experience is available
365 days a year. We are flexible and open to creative ways to
serve those that rely upon our organization for their daily
needs.
The Salvation
Army Community Centre’s Volunteer Program does it’s
best to offer, encourage, model, develop gifts and teach community
for and/or through our volunteers as mandated through our mission
statement.
The volunteer
positions are as follows: Clothing
Cave, kitchen
assistants, help with housekeeping, help prepare snacks,
program helpers, computer training, life skills training, breakfast
program, seasonal and group volunteers & student placements.
