Christmas is a time to remember and celebrate the birth of Jesus. The Bible says Jesus is “the hope of all the world” (Matthew 12:21)
Although Christmas is meant to be a time of celebration and joy, when finances are tight it can be challenging and stressful. We, at The Salvation Army believe that whatever challenges you may face there is always a reason for hope. Jesus is the reason, offering us PEACE, JOY, LOVE and HOPE!
During the Christmas season, we provide assistance to families facing financial uncertainty. The Salvation Army Saskatoon’s Christmas Hamper Program provides assistance to low income families with children. Eligible families receive food and gifts they may otherwise be without.
